Tips

• Mount the phone rigidly on the camera with its camera parallel to the lens, then choose the matching mount in Settings › Mount.
• Align on a star (Aim › Align) for accuracy beyond the compass, and use Gyro Lock near metal tripods.
• Calibrate the compass by moving the phone in a figure eight if Lodestar reports low compass accuracy.
• Night mode turns the whole app red. For extra protection, also turn on Android’s Extra dim (Settings › Accessibility) and lower the brightness.
