Lodestar — aim your camera at the night sky

Lodestar turns an iPhone clamped to your camera into a smart finder for night photography. Pick a planet, nebula, galaxy or star, and on-screen arrows tell you which way to pan and tilt the tripod head until it is in your frame.

• Guided aiming with pan/tilt read-outs, an on-target signal and the outline of your own camera’s frame
• Star alignment and Gyro Lock for accuracy beyond the phone’s compass
• Search and browse 9,000+ stars and 690+ deep-sky objects, the planets, the Moon and the Milky Way core
• Tonight: twilight, darkness windows, the Moon, the Milky Way core and the best targets of the night
• Red night-vision mode, and everything works offline
